Job summary

James River Grounds Management is seeking a dependable Crew Member to perform lawn mowing, clean-ups, mulching, pruning, plantings, and related landscape tasks across assigned properties. You will work on maintenance projects, ensuring safety and quality in every task.

The role requires 2+ years of landscape installation experience, high school diploma or GED, and a valid State Technician/Applicator license as applicable. Drug screens and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscape installation experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Holds minimum State Technician/Applicator license per local requirements.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain landscape equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply weed control and other chemicals per regulations.
• Follow plans with Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Load/unload equipment and supplies; keep site safe and organized.
• Report issues to supervisor and assist with on-site training.
