Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking a Landscaping Maintenance Laborer to join our field team in Pittsford, VT. You will support maintenance and design projects, perform hands-on landscaping tasks, and help ensure customer visions come to life through careful execution and teamwork.

Ideal candidates are reliable, physically capable, and comfortable operating standard landscaping equipment. This role may involve variable hours, including weekends, with weekly pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Operate standard landscaping machinery such as riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record.
• Available to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Perform physical work in various weather conditions.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; reliable transportation to the branch.
• Valid driver’s license with a 5 year clean record.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass.
• Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
• Trim/prune trees and shrubs.
• Clean lawn debris with rakes, shovels, and blowers.
• Install new landscaping materials.
• Keep trucks and equipment clean and in working order.
• Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Interact with homeowners, property guests, clients, and the public in a friendly and polite manner.
