Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking a Landscaping Maintenance Laborer in Pittsford, VT. The role involves performing hands-on landscape maintenance to bring clients' designs to life and participating in a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include mowing, edging, planting, applying fertilizers and pesticides, pruning, debris removal, and ensuring safety with PPE. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and work varied hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Able to operate standard landscaping machinery such as riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record.
• Availability to work variable hours including weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to the branch.
• Valid driver's license with a 5 year clean record.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds & walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass
• Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
• Trim/prune trees and shrubs
• Clean lawn debris with rakes, shovels, and blowers
• Install new landscaping materials
• Keep trucks and equipment clean and in working order
• Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Interact with homeowners, property guests, clients, and the public in a friendly and polite manner
