Job summary

Clippers Landscaping in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a reliable Crew Member to perform lawn mowing, clean-ups, mulching, trimming, planting and general landscape maintenance on assigned properties.

Responsibilities include operating standard landscape equipment, applying weed control and other licensed chemicals, loading and unloading gear, following safety policies, and ensuring timely, quality work. Must be dependable, able to read maps, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read architectural drawings.
• Able to safely work alone and display quality and thoroughness in work product.
• Ability to teach and train new laborers.
• Able to follow plans as shown on a map of property.
• Dependable; consistently arrives to work on time and commits to required hours.
• Organized, hardworking, safety conscious, punctual, leads by example, self-motivated, honest and customer service-driven.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Accountable; demonstrates dependability in attendance and timeliness and follows directions.
• Solutions-oriented with the ability to apply feedback to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (skid steer, backhoe, etc.) and perform landscape tasks safely.
• Apply weed control and other licensed chemical applications.
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Follow plans and coordinate with Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Keep job sites, vehicles, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Report issues to supervisor and maintain safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as required.
