Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Dayton, OH seeks a Crew Member responsible for lawn mowing, clean-ups, mulching, trimming, pruning, fertilization, weed control, and planting of trees and shrubs on assigned properties.

You will safely and efficiently complete landscape enhancement projects, follow plans with crew leader, and participate in training; applicants must be 18+, able to read drawings, and meet licensing requirements. Pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read architectural drawings.
• Able to follow plans as shown on a map of property.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Running equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.)
• Sprays weed control and other chemical applications requiring licensure.
• Stores, transports, mixes and applies chemicals in accordance with the law.
• Follows installation instructions and plans with the Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Assists in loading and unloading equipment, tools, and supplies on truck.
• Keeps equipment and work sites clean and organized.
• Performs all job-related tasks safely and efficiently per safety policy.
• Communicates issues to supervisor and follows directions.
