Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance on industrial, commercial, and public properties. This role performs basic tasks under supervision and helps operate commercial landscaping equipment while maintaining plant material and other landscape features.

The position requires physical stamina and reliability, with a starting pay range of $15–$17 per hour, and offers benefits for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and dependable.
• Able to safely operate landscaping equipment with supervision.
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge using gas tools.
• Prune shrubs and maintain beds to keep them healthy.
• Plant and care for flowers; operate equipment safely and responsibly.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and report hazards.
