Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate account activities and daily tasks as assigned
- Manage landscaping and estate maintenance crews throughout each season, including fall and spring clean-up, edging, mulching, pool openings, patio furniture setup and storage, gutter cleaning, window washing, leaf removal, and snow removal
- Ensure proper management and maintenance of property care
- Ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget
- Execute duties related to lawn, landscape, and ground maintenance with high attention to detail
- Follow and enforce safety procedures for turf equipment, trailering, and overall associate safety
- Analyze account needs and implement efficient procedures
- Maintain quality standards while managing time effectively
- Communicate project status and issues to management promptly
- Resolve discrepancies and adapt to changes to ensure client satisfaction
- Manage inventory and control supplies, materials, and products
- Assist with client events, holiday setups, and tear-downs as needed
- Support snow removal and ice melting operations
- Help complete invoice sheets and perform shop duties
- Develop expertise in client preferences and needs
- Follow through on commitments and client requests
- Supervise full and part-time team members
- Train associates and provide ongoing feedback and motivation
- Plan, assign, and direct work, fostering open communication
Requirements
- Knowledge of pool, irrigation, and property care
- Knowledge of plant care, identification, diseases, and pests
- Ability to see the big picture and suggest improvements
- Organizational skills for property and equipment management
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent
- Proficiency in communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork and time management skills
- Experience with mowing, edging, trimming, irrigation, pool maintenance, fertilization, and chemical application
- Ability to maintain client relations and interpret technical documents
- Effective speaking and writing skills
- Mathematical skills including basic algebra and geometry
- Valid driver’s license with a good record
- Ability to perform physical job demands
- Chemical applicator’s license preferred
Compensation
- $25-$30/hour or $60,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience
