Job description

Join a nationwide family of companies that specializes in creating and maintaining luxury outdoor living spaces. As a Landscape Maintenance Team Leader in Indianapolis, IN, you'll perform all facets of landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities
  1. Direct and coordinate account activities and daily tasks as assigned
  2. Manage landscaping and estate maintenance crews throughout each season, including fall and spring clean-up, edging, mulching, pool openings, patio furniture setup and storage, gutter cleaning, window washing, leaf removal, and snow removal
  3. Ensure proper management and maintenance of property care
  4. Ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget
  5. Execute duties related to lawn, landscape, and ground maintenance with high attention to detail
  6. Follow and enforce safety procedures for turf equipment, trailering, and overall associate safety
  7. Analyze account needs and implement efficient procedures
  8. Maintain quality standards while managing time effectively
  9. Communicate project status and issues to management promptly
  10. Resolve discrepancies and adapt to changes to ensure client satisfaction
  11. Manage inventory and control supplies, materials, and products
  12. Assist with client events, holiday setups, and tear-downs as needed
  13. Support snow removal and ice melting operations
  14. Help complete invoice sheets and perform shop duties
  15. Develop expertise in client preferences and needs
  16. Follow through on commitments and client requests
  17. Supervise full and part-time team members
  18. Train associates and provide ongoing feedback and motivation
  19. Plan, assign, and direct work, fostering open communication
Requirements
  1. Knowledge of pool, irrigation, and property care
  2. Knowledge of plant care, identification, diseases, and pests
  3. Ability to see the big picture and suggest improvements
  4. Organizational skills for property and equipment management
  5. Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  6. Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent
  7. Proficiency in communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  8. Teamwork and time management skills
  9. Experience with mowing, edging, trimming, irrigation, pool maintenance, fertilization, and chemical application
  10. Ability to maintain client relations and interpret technical documents
  11. Effective speaking and writing skills
  12. Mathematical skills including basic algebra and geometry
  13. Valid driver’s license with a good record
  14. Ability to perform physical job demands
  15. Chemical applicator’s license preferred
Compensation
  • $25-$30/hour or $60,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience
