Job summary
BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across various properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial landscaping equipment, and assist with plant material maintenance.
Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, pruning, bed planting, debris removal, and routine equipment care. Must be 18+, with certification on level 1 gear and a basic horticultural background. Outdoor work in all weather required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and dependable.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
- Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, mower).
- Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.
Responsibilities
- Cut turf with power mowers and trim/edge with gas-powered tools.
- Prune shrubs and low trees to shape growth or remove damage.
- Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
- Operate edger and line trimmer along hardscapes and beds.
- Push/pick up debris and mulch as part of mowing.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance to extend life.
- Maintain safe, polite interactions with guests and customers.
- Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
