Job summary

McHale Landscape Design is seeking a Maintenance Foreman to oversee on-site maintenance for residential contracts. The role starts early, with regular Mon-Fri hours and occasional Saturdays during peak season.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in landscaping/construction.
• Capable of operating required equipment and tools safely.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and DOT.

Responsibilities

• Aid in loading/unloading trucks and trailers in the AM/PM.
• Cut grass, trim edges, and clean up refuse; water turf areas.
• Move soil, mulch and plant material for landscape construction.
• Operate power equipment (lawn tractors, mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule day-to-day work of a 2–5 employee crew.
• Delegate tasks and ensure project completion.
• Conduct on-site orientations with new employees.
• Perform daily maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork.
• Ensure safety and PPE compliance on jobsites.
• Train employees and communicate with customers politely.
