Job summary

Merit Landscape Solutions is seeking a Landscape Crew Member to perform mowing, trimming, planting, and cleanup tasks on commercial properties. You will work outdoors in all weather, operate professional equipment, and contribute to maintaining properties to a high standard.

You will be part of a crew with daily guidance from the Crew Leader, carry out physical tasks, and partake in seasonal overtime including potential snow duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping is a plus; training is provided.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long hours.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license preferred (DOT where applicable).
• Good attitude, reliable attendance, and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, blow, and clean commercial properties.
• Prune trees and shrubs; plant flowers and maintain beds.
• Use hand tools and power equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Follow safety procedures and wear provided PPE.
• Work as part of a crew with daily direction from your Crew Leader.
• Load/unload equipment and maintain cleanliness of trucks/tools.
• Assist with snow removal duties during winter (where applicable).

What You'll Do

• Mow, edge, trim, blow, and clean commercial properties
• Prune trees and shrubs; plant flowers and maintain beds
• Use hand tools and power equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers)

What We're Looking For

Work Hours

• Typically Monday--Friday, 7:00 AM--6:00 PM (seasonal overtime likely)
• Weekend or on-call hours possible during peak season or snow events

Physical Requirements

• Walk up to 10 miles per day on varied terrain
• Operate gas-powered tools and ride-on equipment
