RGS Landscape & Arbor Care seeks a Crew Leader to supervise landscape maintenance at assigned sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. You will coordinate with the Production Manager, delegate duties, and oversee daily tasks to meet client expectations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of commercial landscape experience, knowledge of irrigation systems, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of ornamental horticulture and/or agronomy.
• Basic knowledge of ornamental landscape pests, diseases and treatments.
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems and controllers, including weather management controls.
• Effective administrative and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written or verbal orders and delegate work responsibly.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Receive assigned job site information and discuss special instructions.
• Communicate with Production Manager on personnel issues for proper delegation.
• Recommend changes to methods, schedules and procedures for efficiency.
• Organize equipment and personnel with Production Manager’s help.
• Inform Production Manager of job progress and equipment needs.
• Supervise crew to prepare equipment, tools and supplies for the day.
• Instruct crew on assignments and monitor progress for efficiency.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure proper use of safety equipment.
• Use proper equipment safely to prevent accidents.
• Assist and train crew members in daily activities and leadership.
• Maintain neat housekeeping on job site and equipment areas.
• Ensure timely completion of timesheets and proper documentation.
• Observe rest and meal periods per company requirements.
• Operate company vehicle as per policy if assigned.
• Follow dress standards and payroll reporting rules.
