Job summary

Exscape Group in Ohio is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to supervise a 2–3 member crew and perform landscape maintenance and construction tasks alongside the team. You will drive quality work, collaboration, and community impact while developing skills and training others.

This full-time, on-site role typically works Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours and weekend work for seasonal needs, including winter snow removal. Medical benefits and a 401(k) plan are offered.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience or education demonstrating landscape maintenance ability.
• Prior supervisory experience and ability to give clear instructions.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and safe tool operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform outdoor tasks in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a crew of 2–3 team members, providing clear instructions and ongoing training.
• Work alongside the crew on site preparation, trimming, digging, debris removal, and other landscape maintenance and construction tasks using hand and power tools.
• Coordinate with management and sales personnel to confirm project scope, equipment, and material needs.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, track material usage, and complete accurate crew time sheets.
• Communicate daily about job progress and customer satisfaction, and promptly report concerns to management or Human Resources.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols, including incident reporting procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Complete job site and equipment opening and closing duties, assist with equipment maintenance, maintain inventory records, and keep assigned areas clean.
• Participate in winter snow operations, including planning, area management, and snow removal during events that may require work outside regular hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
