The Grounds Guys of Atlanta and Alpharetta is seeking a hands-on Crew Foreman to lead a residential landscape maintenance crew. You will ensure the day’s plan is executed safely and professionally, guiding the team with clear tasks and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Quality & Job Work: Follow the Quality Standards every day; review the route plan with Manager; take before/after photos and notes.
• Lead the Crew: Set clear tasks, model attitude and safety, train new team members.
• Communication: Keep Operations Lead updated; report weather delays, access issues and scope questions.
• Report quality issues or complaints immediately to manager.

Overview

The Grounds Guys of Atlanta and Alpharetta hiring a Crew Foreman to lead a field crew day-to-day, so work is completed the right way, safely, and with strong customer care. This role is hands-on in the field and is a leadership track position with growth potential toward Operations Lead.

Employment Details

• Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays (rare)
• Pay Range: $20–$25/hour (DOE)
• Work Availability: Year-round work

Reports To

What Success Looks Like

• Work is completed the right way with no rework or callbacks from existing or new customers
• Crew knows the plan for the day and stays on task
• Jobs are safe, clean, and professional
• Trucks, trailers, and equipment are cared for and kept organized

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality & Job Work
   • Follow the Quality Standards every day
   • Ensure the crew follows the Quality Standards
   • Review the route plan with Manager before starting each morning
   • Take and send before/after photos and job notes as required by Manager
2. Lead the Crew
   • Lead by example (attitude, speed, respect, and safety)
   • Assign clear tasks and confirm understanding
   • Correct issues immediately in a calm, respectful way
   • Help train new team members in the field
3. Communication
   • Keep Operations Lead / Field Leadership updated throughout the day
   • Report daily on the job:
     • Weather delays
     • Access issues (gates, locked areas)
     • Scope questions (what is/is not included)
     • Customer concerns
   • Report on quality issues or complaints immediately to manager

Requirements

• Two Years’ prior experience with leading a Residential Landscape Maintenance Crew(s)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles
