Galbraith’s Landscaping & Lawn Care is seeking an experienced, organized, and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the daily field operations of our lawn and landscape divisions.
This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for keeping crews staffed, equipped, organized, productive, and moving efficiently throughout the day. The Operations Manager is expected to quickly identify and remove the obstacles that slow crews down, including staffing issues, missing materials, equipment problems, poor planning, and schedule conflicts.
The ideal Operations Manager is not someone who simply manages schedules from an office.
We are looking for a leader who understands that crew productivity depends heavily on preparation. A four-person crew waiting for a $20 belt, missing material, or unavailable piece of equipment can quickly cost the company far more than the item itself.
This person should consistently think several days ahead, anticipate what crews will need, maintain appropriate inventory, and make sure equipment and materials are ready before they become urgent.
The Operations Manager should constantly be asking:
Are our people, equipment, parts, and materials ready to complete the work safely, efficiently, on time, and to the level of quality our customers expect?
When the answer is no, this position is responsible for identifying the problem and getting a solution in place before production is affected.
