Job summary

Mercer County Works is seeking a landscaping worker in Trenton, New Jersey. The ideal candidate must be willing to follow directions from the landscape foreperson and perform a variety of duties including installing mulch and plants, as well as operating landscaping equipment.

Applicants should be physically capable of lifting over 50 pounds, and while a valid driver's license is a plus, it is not required. The position may require seasonal overtime work.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions given by landscape foreperson.
• Ability to use wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels, and various landscaping equipment.
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install mulch and plants as needed.
• Operate landscaping equipment and perform general maintenance tasks.
• Work overtime during peak seasons.
