Job Posting: Landscape Installation Crew Member

Weston Nurseries, one of the area’s leading garden centers and wholesalers of plant material and gardening products. We are seeking Landscape Installation Crew Members with experience to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for working outdoors and creating stunning landscapes, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time position located in Hopkinton MA.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Installation of plant material utilizing tools, planting productsand equipment, following our proper planting techniques

· Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, skid loaders, and other tools and equipment required for hardscape both safely and efficiently.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by handling and storing materials properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.

· Ability to work effectively with individuals of different backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels

· Collaborate with crew leader and team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.

· Represent Weston Nurseries best interest and maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements:

· At least 1 year of proven work experience in Landscape construction or similar role

· Excellent communication skills. Ability to speak and understand English

· Dependability and Reliability: showing up on time to support your team and maintaining a dedication to providing the best services possible to our clientele

· Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including skid steers, plow trucks, and other power & hand tools safely and efficiently.

· Valid Driver’s License (has DOT card or ability to obtain DOT card)

· Valid Hoisting License and/or the ability to obtain a 2A/1C

· Ability to lift 80lbs+; work outside in inclement weather; bending, squatting, lifting, reaching

· Ability to work 8–10-hour shifts and Saturdays if needed (overtime available)

Additional Information

· Job Title: Landscape Installation Crew Member

· Work Environment: Outside in all types of weather must be willing to work at least one weekend day and some holidays.

· Reporting Structure: Reports to Installation Services Manager

· Pay Range: $20 – $25 per hour BOE

· Location: Hopkinton

· Employment Type: Full-time
