Job summary

HLM Landscape Services seeks a hardworking grounds maintenance worker to manage outdoor spaces for a variety of properties in Lexington. You will operate equipment, perform installations of plant material and hardscapes, and ensure safety standards are met while working in teams or independently.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 70 lbs, and flexibility with hours, including potential overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently within standard procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Capable of walking up to 10 miles daily and working outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds of commercial, industrial, private, or public properties.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Clock in/out to track time and assist with daily inspections.
• Operate equipment such as dingos, skid steers, and mini excavators.
• Install plant materials, hardscapes, and drainage features as directed.
• Read and follow directions; work independently or as part of a crew.
