The Install Division Manager is a People Leader who leads Fisk Lawnscapes’ installation division, overseeing all residential and commercial landscape installation projects from pre-construction planning through final walkthrough. This role is the primary driver of production capacity, crew performance, and project profitability within the install division. The Division
Manager sits on the leadership team and works closely with the COO, project managers, and field foremen to ensure every project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the quality standards Fisk is known for.

The Skill Set
- 7+ years of experience in landscape installation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or division management role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent install projects totaling $3M+ in annual revenue
- Deep knowledge of landscape construction methods: grading, hardscape, planting, irrigation, drainage, and site prep
- Proficient in project management and field operations software (Aspire, or equivalent)
- Strong financial acumen: job costing, budget tracking, labor efficiency, and gross margin management
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, landscape plans, and bid documents
- Proven track record of building, training, and retaining high-performing field crews
- Excellent communicator — clear and direct with crews, collaborative with internal leadership, professional with clients
- Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to travel between job sites daily
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
The Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the annual strategic plan for the Install Division.
- Establish annual division goals, KPIs, and budget in partnership with the COO.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and client experience.
- Forecast labor needs and production capacity 3–12 months ahead.
- Recommend capital equipment purchases and technology improvements.
- Evaluate division performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic planning for the install division — staffing, equipment investment, and capacity forecasting
- Own division P&L — monitor job costing, labor efficiency (budgeted vs. actual hours), and gross margin per project
- Identify cost savings opportunities.
Operational Excellence
- Conduct pre-construction meetings with PMs and foremen to review scope, materials, timeline, and crew assignments
- Perform regular site visits to ensure quality, safety compliance, and project progress across all active jobs
- Partner with the estimating and design-sales teams to review complex bids, flag issues, and ensure accurate scoping
- Guide decision making for PMs coordinating materials procurement and equipment scheduling to minimize downtime and maximize crew productivity
- Ensure all projects meet Fisk’s quality standards — conduct QC walkthroughs and client handoff inspections
- Identify and elevate potential challenges proactively; develop creative solutions to keep projects on schedule and on budget
- Maintain accurate project documentation in Aspire: job notes, phase completions, change orders, and crew time entries
- Standardize field processes
Team Management
- Oversee all aspects of the install division: PM development and oversight, crew development and execution, project scheduling, equipment utilization, and subcontractor coordination
- Manage team Project Managers and develop/coach a team of foremen — conduct ride-alongs, deliver performance reviews & feedback, and build a culture of accountability and craftsmanship
- Partner with HR Leader and leadership team to guide people operations activities
