HLM Landscape Services in Lexington, KY is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician to maintain the grounds of commercial, industrial, private, or public properties. The role involves operating landscape equipment, installing plant material, and contributing to hardscape projects while following safety policies.

The candidate should be able to lift 70 lbs, walk up to 10 miles daily, and work most weekdays with possible overtime and weekend hours.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to safely operate equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 70lbs.
  • Must be able to walk up to 10 miles a day.
  • Must be available to work Monday thru Friday from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM including possible overtime and occasional weekends.
  • Physically able to perform duties in all weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of industry standard tools and equipment.
  • Have a current, valid driver’s license.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical certification (medical card).
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.

  • Installing hardscape including patios, retaining walls, and natural rock features.
  • Grading and installing drainage.
