Job summary

Gila River Resorts & Casinos—Wild Horse Pass Property in Chandler, AZ—is seeking a landscape maintenance worker to keep the grounds, assist with irrigation, and support guest-facing services in a high- standard property environment.

The role pays $19 per hour and closes October 19, 2026 at 4:00 PM; candidates should have general landscape maintenance experience and strong guest service skills.

Qualifications

• General landscape maintenance experience required

• Excellent guest service skills with ability to follow up and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests
• Completes all projects and assignments as directed by the field foreman and/or landscape manager
• Cleans and maintains the parking lot and sidewalks by removing trash, oil stains and gum/food stains
• Cleans enterprise buildings and grounds annually using steam cleaners
• Safely and properly operates equipment as assigned and trained to maintain the landscape surrounding enterprise properties
• Assists with irrigation maintenance and repairs as necessary
• Cleans and maintains the enterprise landscape by raking, sweeping, planting of shrubs and trees and trimming as needed
• Maintains storage trailer to ensure all tools, supplies and equipment are secure and clean
• Maintains and mows grass as directed
• Attends update meetings and in-house trainings as required
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned

Description

Pay range: $19 per hour

This position is responsible to maintain the landscape and grounds on and around enterprise properties, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.

Skills/ Requirements

• General landscape maintenance experience required.
• Skilled in the area of manual labor as it relates to digging, raking, sweeping and planting.
• Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest.
• Must possess excellent guest service skills, be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
