Green View, a family-owned landscaping company serving Central Illinois, is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in bed maintenance, weed control, and seasonal tasks. The role requires managing work quality, safety, and efficiency across homes and businesses.

The ideal candidate will have landscape experience, a pesticide license (or willingness to obtain one with our support), a valid IL driver’s license, and the ability to lift 80 lbs and work outdoors year-round.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape bed maintenance or similar work.
• Ability to lead a crew and maintain a quality standard.
• Know-how with herbicide application and identifying weeds/pests/disease.
• IL Pesticide Applicators License (or willing to get one—we’ll help).
• Valid IL driver’s license, clean record.
• Able to lift 80 lbs and work outside in all weather.

What you'll do:

• Lead your crew on weeding, mulching, edging, and cleanup
• Apply and oversee weed-killer treatments safely and by the label
• Keep bed edges clean using hand tools and power edgers
• Spot weed, pest, and disease problems and figure out how to treat them
• Plan the day's work to use labor and materials efficiently
