Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in construction estimating preferred
• Strong math/analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and manage time efficiently
• Excellent MS Word and Excel skills; takeoff software experience a plus
• Strong communication skills with subcontractors, vendors, and clients

Responsibilities

• Distribute, log, and maintain bid documents and plans
• Source subcontractors and vendors for pricing
• Maintain estimating bid reports and bid calendars
• Review RFPs for insurance requirements and bonds
• Prepare bid forms and invitations to bid for projects
• Attend bid walks and participate in bid reviews with the project team
