Job summary

Russo Hardware, Inc. is hiring a Service Landscape Mechanic in Frankfort, IL to diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and power equipment. The role requires hands-on experience with 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, strong problem solving, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

You will perform maintenance, order parts, and explain repairs clearly to customers while keeping a clean, safe shop. The position offers competitive hourly pay, weekend hours on Saturdays till noon, and benefits

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of small engine repair and power equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Comfortable using shop tools and diagnostic manuals.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair small engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke).
Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups.
Order and install replacement parts.
Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safe working conditions.
Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs clearly.
Uphold a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the mechanic team.
Other duties as assigned by management.
