Job summary

GroundSystems is seeking an experienced Landscape & Enhancements Crew Leader for our Dayton location. This hands-on role leads a crew of 1–4 employees, oversees daily operations, and ensures quality, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities include supervising and training crew members, performing landscape maintenance and enhancements, operating and maintaining equipment, and tracking hours using a mobile device. We offer year-round, full-time employment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 20+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license with no violations in the past 3 years.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Previous landscaping and crew leadership experience preferred.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors, and work overtime as needed.
• Must follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train crew members.
• Perform landscape maintenance and enhancements, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, pruning, and seasonal cleanups.
• Ensure job site quality, productivity, and safety.
• Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment, trucks, and trailers.
• Track employee hours and job activities using a mobile device.
