Job summary

GroundSystems is seeking an experienced Landscape & Enhancements Crew Leader to guide a Dayton, Ohio crew and ensure high-quality, efficient work. This hands-on supervisor role manages 1–4 crew members and daily operations, emphasizing safety and productivity in landscape maintenance and enhancements.

Ideal candidates will have prior landscaping and crew leadership experience, the ability to operate related equipment, and a commitment to safety guidelines and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Must be 20+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license with no violations in the past 3 years.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Previous landscaping and crew leadership experience preferred.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors, and work overtime as needed.
• Must follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train crew members.
• Perform landscape maintenance and enhancements, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, pruning, and seasonal cleanups.
• Ensure job site quality, productivity, and safety.
• Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment, trucks, and trailers.
• Track employee hours and job activities using a mobile device.
