Job summary

Landscaping Services, Inc. (LSI) is seeking a dedicated Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader to join our team in Middle Tennessee. This full-time, year-round role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM in a family-oriented, outdoor environment.

The Crew Leader will drive and operate trailers and skid steers, install plants, mow, trim, edge, and perform weed control while supervising a crew and ensuring safety. Equal opportunity employer with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience is preferred.
• Management experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating 12-14' trailers and skid steers.
• Installing plants and other hard materials.
• Cutting lawns with power mowers.
• Trimming and edging with gas-powered edger/trimmer.
• Operating a gas-powered blower.
• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs.
• Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed.
• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing onto burlap and onto a truck or trailer.
• Perform weeding by hand or with a garden hoe.
• Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions.
• Supervising a crew of employees.

The Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader is a critical part of our team who is responsible for:

• Driving and operating 12-14' trailers and skid steers
• Installing plants and other hard materials.
• Cutting lawns using various sized power mowers.
• Trimming and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer.
• Operating a gas-powered blower.
• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas-powered hedge trimmers.
• Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed.
• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing them onto burlap and placing onto a truck or trailer.
• Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe.
• Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions.
• Supervising a crew of employees.

Skills We’re Seeking

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Physical Requirements- Must be able to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and talk or hear. Ability to lift 70 lbs.
