Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a professional landscape architecture setting.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited landscape architecture program
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Advanced knowledge 3-D modeling program SketchUp
• Strong oral, written, and graphic communication skills
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy
• Ability to travel to project sites
• Experience developing construction documentation

Responsibilities

• Contributes to client projects through conceptual design, urban planning, and construction administration.
• Collaborates with landscape architects to develop sustainable and collaborative outdoor spaces.
• Creates interactive outdoor spaces at various scales from ecosystem restoration to learning gardens.
• Develops drainage, grading, hardscape, and landscape plans.
• Prepares well-designed schematic sketches and concept plans for client evaluation.
• Performs site visits to systematize introductory design stages and oversee continued work through construction administration.
