Southern Landscape in Austin, Texas is seeking a Design Team member to translate client dreams into outdoor living spaces. You will design and sell residential landscape projects ranging from pools and outdoor kitchens to stonework.

You’ll manage construction, nurture client relationships, and see projects become reality. Requires 2+ years’ outdoor residential design experience, knowledge of landscape materials, and proficiency with Dynascape or Pool Studio.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years experience designing outdoor residential spaces including landscapes, hardscapes, pools, and kitchens.
• Excellent communication, sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into design.
• Experience with CAD-like tools such as Dynascape and Pool Studio recommended.
• Knowledge of landscape materials and construction methods.

Our design team at Southern Landscape is responsible for the design and sale of residential landscape and outdoor living projects. Most projects include landscaping, concrete and rock masonry, irrigation, and rough and finish carpentry.Projects range in scope and scale from small landscape revitalizations to large estate and acreage master plans with pools, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, water features, and other outdoor construction.

The critical link between the client and their dreams, our design team is passionate about delivering innovative design, unparalleled customer service, and total client satisfaction. Southern Landscape designs and delivers both intimate residential spaces and large, complex residential landscape and outdoor living projects.The designer will refine design and construction skills that will enable him/her to take ownership of increasingly complex design/build projects.

As a Design Team member, each day will be different as you:

Base salary plus commission, full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and other insurance. 401k.

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate

2+ years experience designing outdoor residential spaces, including landscapes, hardscapes, pools, and kitchens.

Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.

Excellent creative skills and ability to translate customer requirements into design.

Experience with computer-aided design software, preferably Dynascape and or the Pool Studio suite.

Knowledge of landscape and hardscape materials and construction methods.

Well organized and detail-oriented. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment .

Impeccable manners and commitment to quality.

Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Contracting, Horticulture, or equivalent experience.

Valid Texas driver’s license with minimal violations.

High ethical standards.
