Job summary

Lindgren Landscape in Fort Collins, CO seeks a Landscape Designer with strong sales and design skills to design residential landscapes and drive installations. The role combines client facing design work with CAD/3D modeling, estimating, and coordination with operations and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in residential landscape design/construction, proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD, and a background in sprinkler/lighting design.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years Sales Experience required
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in residential landscape construction and design required
• Sketchup: 1 year or other 3D modelling software required
• AutoCAD: 3 years required
• Experience with sprinkler and landscape lighting design preferred

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to design projects, sell installation projects and maintain client relations
• Prepare site plans, working drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape construction projects
• Visit construction sites to ensure client’s vision is implemented and manage client relations throughout the process
• Generate plans in CAD and create 3D models
• Create submittals for estimating and production and process change orders
