Job summary

The Townsend Company in Indianapolis is seeking a Design & Build Foreperson to lead a residential landscape installation crew of 3–5 associates. You will supervise installation work, direct daily activities, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

You will manage client communications, maintain accurate project documentation, and coach team members on proper techniques and safety practices. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential landscape installation.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Able to read and follow installation instructions.
• Willing to travel occasionally and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3–5-person crew and assign daily tasks.
• Ensure high-quality installation and safety practices.
