Job summary

HARBOUR RIDGE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION INC is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to perform daily landscape duties as directed by the Area Supervisor/ Crew Leader. Tasks include pruning plants and trees, raking debris, weed control, planting, watering, fertilizing, and sod installation.

The role requires organizing tools, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and company policies. Must demonstrate good attendance, reliability, and flexibility in work schedule.

Qualifications

• Follow supervisor’s safety instructions and maintain professional conduct.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor tasks in variable weather.
• Good time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Trim or prune plants, trees and palms as necessary.
• Rake leaves and plant debris into containers and load into dump trailer.
• Weed removal on a daily basis.
• Install new plants, trees, palms and sod as necessary.
• Apply water to newly planted trees, palms, ornamental plants and sod.
• Fertilize plants, trees, palms and turf as instructed.
• Prepare areas for annual flowers and sod replacement.
• Organize tools and equipment for daily use.
• Secure all tools and equipment at the end of each work day.
• Inspect equipment daily for productive and safe operation; report issues to supervisor and/or mechanic.
