Job Summary:

The Landscape Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing and working alongside a crew to complete high-quality landscape installation, maintenance, and enhancement projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, a strong work ethic, and a passion for outdoor work. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in landscape operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and motivate crew members on job sites
• Ensure all work meets company standards and customer expectations
• Perform and lead tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, mulching, and irrigation repair
• Operate landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, skid steers, etc.) safely and effectively
• Manage daily job schedules, route assignments, and material needs
• Communicate professionally with customers and address concerns or questions as needed
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, materials used, and project completion
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all crew members follow them
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience required
• 1+ year of supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, kneel, bend, and perform strenuous labor
• Knowledge of plant material, irrigation systems, and landscape tools
