Job Summary

A Landscape Crew Member is responsible for assisting the Landscape Crew Leader in executing landscape plans. Some Crew Members may specialize in enhancement or maintenance work, but all should be willing and able to perform either at the supervisor’s discretion. Employees are expected to carry out the company’s purpose and demonstrate core values.

Essential Functions

• Assist the Landscape Crew Leader in executing landscape enhancement plans.
• Operate equipment including zero-turn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Pick up trash and debris as needed.
• Plant, lay sod, trim, prune as required.
• Complete hardscape projects and outdoor lighting.
• Install landscapes and lawns.
• Perform tasks related to lawn and landscape maintenance.
• Safely operate equipment like skid steers, mini excavators, sod cutters, etc.
• Perform snow removal in winter months.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Personal Characteristics

• Availability to work varied schedules including Saturdays.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical equipment maintenance understanding.
• Ability to identify plants (preferred).
• Ability to read and follow landscape plans.
