Job summary

Bemus Landscape is seeking a Crew Leader to oversee field operations on assigned landscapes in California. You will lead a crew, assign tasks, and train team members while ensuring safety and quality as part of daily maintenance activities.

The role requires hands-on experience in landscape practices, strong communication with customers and management, and reliable transportation of crew and equipment to sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively understand and communicate with customers, managers, and crew members.
• Possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew. Assign tasks and direct work within scope and time for jobs. Train, supervise, and assist crew members in horticultural practices and techniques.
• Transport crew and equipment to job sites daily.
• Routinely communicate with customers on-site to ascertain priorities and inform of scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Perform landscape maintenance duties (mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, blowing, raking, applying pesticides, etc.), and maintain safety.
