Job summary

Miller Landscape & Outdoor Living in Orion, MI is seeking a skilled Landscape Technician/Crew Leader to guide a crew in delivering high-quality outdoor spaces for commercial and residential clients.

You will manage day-to-day operations, perform lawn maintenance, install plants and hardscapes, operate equipment, and ensure safety and quality on every job, while mentoring teammates and coordinating with site supervisors.

Qualifications

• Prior landscaping or groundskeeping experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a landscape crew on residential and/or commercial job sites.
• Perform lawn maintenance, mowing, trimming, edging, and clean-ups.
• Install and maintain plants, mulch, sod, and landscape beds.
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Ensure job sites are completed on schedule and to company quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and site supervisors.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

About the Role:

Miller Landscape & Outdoor Living is looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician/Crew Leader to join our team in Orion, MI! This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a crew to deliver beautiful, high-quality landscape results for our clients. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a landscape crew on residential and/or commercial job sites
• Perform lawn maintenance, mowing, trimming, edging, and clean-ups
• Install and maintain plants, mulch, sod, and landscape beds
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Ensure job sites are completed on schedule and to company quality standards
• Communicate effectively with crew members and site supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field
• Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required to operate company vehicles)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. without restrictions
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
