Job summary

Woodlawns Landscape in Mundelein, IL is seeking a Crew Leader to guide an offsite 3-4 member crew on landscape maintenance and installation projects. You’ll mentor crew members, uphold safety standards, and ensure quality through proven work methods.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of landscape industry experience, preferably in maintenance/garden environment.
• Basic plant recognition and horticultural knowledge.
• Ability to communicate clearly with crew, clients and other associates.
• Must possess a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily job site operations for efficiency and quality.
• Enforce and maintain strict safety standards and procedures.
• Identify basic landscape plants and understand plant care.
• Basic pruning knowledge is ideal.
• Maintain accurate field records (Timekeeping, Vehicle Inspection Form, Service Notification Cards).
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively.
• Safely transport crew and equipment to job sites.
