Job summary

Mariani Landscape in Lake Bluff, IL is hiring Crew Members to maintain lawns and gardens, perform seasonal pruning, and help ensure our properties meet high standards.

You will operate mowing, edging, trimming equipment, handle weed removal, and work in various weather conditions. At least 1 year of landscaping experience preferred; physical work includes lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role.
• Able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers.
• Landscaping is a physically demanding job—expect to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions with attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general maintenance duties such as mowing lawns, edging, and trimming.
• Plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants and shrubs.
• Remove weeds and dead plants as needed to preserve plant health.
• Trim overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves for an appealing look.
• Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and tillers.
