Job summary

The Arc Erie County is seeking a Landscape Contract Crew Chief to oversee sites, manage contract workers, and ensure project quality across assignments in Buffalo, NY.

You will prepare site plans, estimates, and coordinate with clients, supervise staff, maintain tools and equipment, and help drive affordable benefits and a stable 40-hour work week with competitive pay of $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 1 year of full-time experience in a work setting, or janitorial field.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and approved driving record.
• Experience in landscaping and mowing operations preferred.
• Ability to oversee contract workers and coordinate materials.

What you’ll be doing:

As our Landscape Contract Crew Chief you will be overseeing assigned sites as well as repairs. You will also be working with contract workers to ensure compliance, order materials, advise clients and more.

You will be responsible for…

• Overseeing the maintenance of field tools and equipment

What we need from you:

High School Diploma plus one-year full-time experience in a work setting training others or one-year full-time experience in the janitorial field

Valid NYS Driver’s License & approved driving record
