Deliverables

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2–3 landscape team members in daily operations and project execution
• Plan, organize, and assign daily work activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety
• Review project scope and clearly communicate roles and expectations to crew members
• Coordinate tools, materials, equipment, and manpower to maximize productivity
• Oversee landscape installations including planting, mulching, edging, trimming, turf work, hardscapes, and irrigation systems per project specifications
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards, customer performance metrics, and safety requirements
• Train, mentor, and coach crew members on proper landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures
• Provide regular updates to management regarding progress, delays, concerns, and material or labor needs
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain and monitor tools, equipment, and vehicles to ensure proper use and maintenance
• Accurately track time, materials, and equipment usage

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of landscaping experience, with prior leadership or crew lead experience preferred
• Strong understanding of landscape projects from start to finish including knowledge of plants, plant care, and landscape construction principles
• Ability to edge, trim, plant, mulch, and perform landscape installations
• Proficient in safely operating hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain relevant certifications as needed
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible hours as required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Sense of urgency, attention to detail and positive attitude

Compensation

• Competitive Pay - $20.00 to $30.00 per hour (dependent upon experience)
