Landscape Construction Manager (Enhancement & Snow Ops) – Chicagoland, IL

We’re hiring a Landscape Construction Manager in Chicagoland to lead landscape enhancement projects, production crews, and winter snow operations. In this role, you’ll oversee labor, materials, and equipment to deliver quality, profitable work that delights our commercial clients year-round. This is a back-fill for a long-term leader who is retiring. The chosen candidate will also be actively involved in large-scale, Fortune 50 client design, estimate, and proposal activities.

Looking for a hands-on role in landscape construction and winter operations?

What You’ll Do

• Manage Projects & People: Supervise up to 12 crew members—Foremen, Leads, and laborers—to deliver on-time, on-budget enhancement work.
• Estimate & Budget: Prepare bids, track labor/material costs, investigate variances, and ensure profitability.
• Customer Partnership: Serve as the key onsite contact for property managers, board members, and homeowners.
• Safety & Quality Control: Lead daily safety huddles, conduct regular job inspections, and enforce all standards.
• Winter Ops: Plan and execute snow removal on large direct-report sites, manage deicing materials, and coordinate crews through the season.

Who You Are

• Experience: 4+ years in landscape construction or a similar field with crew- and project-management responsibility.
• Education: Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills in budgeting and scheduling.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license (CDL/Class D) and compliance with DOT regulations.
