GTI is growing rapidly! We are seeking a logistical expert and construction management professional to oversee CPG construction projects. As a Construction Project Manager for GTI CPG, you will serve as the liaison between GTI HQ and our Cultivation/Processing Facility build-outs in the field, ensuring scope of work is executed, quality is maintained, timelines are met, and budgets are adhered to. Excellent communication skills are essential for working effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and team members. A proven track record of managing 20+ projects across a national landscape is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage CPG construction projects along with smaller business imperative, repair, or energy upgrade projects as required.
- Oversee all phases of construction project management, including feasibility, schedule and budget development, planning and design, FF&E procurement, and startup coordination.
- Act as the single point of contact for field execution, coordinating with stakeholders, departments, contractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure project alignment and data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare and update project status reports, tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
- Track project performance in terms of cost, schedule, and scope delivery.
- Develop an execution plan including a resource-loaded critical path schedule.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations, enforcing GTI's quality and community standards.
Working Conditions
- Work involves daily exposure to allergens such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of construction project management experience; 7+ years in construction management preferred.
- Experience managing multi-site, multi-state locations in a high-growth environment.
- Proficiency with construction budgets and management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, Timberline, Rocor, and PlanGrid.
- Familiarity with planning, operations, and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other database applications.
- Ability to handle ad-hoc projects effectively.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently or in teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with high critical thinking skills.
- Operate with professionalism and integrity, handling confidential information appropriately.
- Understanding of and compliance with industry rules, policies, and procedures.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
