Job summary

Farmscape, LLC in Oakland, CA is looking for a landscape construction assistant to help install projects, assist with hardscaping, irrigation and related tasks under the supervision of the foreman.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in landscape construction and a valid driver’s license, with a strong work ethic and teamwork. We offer full-time hours and competitive benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan with employer matching.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing landscape projects, including hardscaping, masonry, carpentry, and irrigation under the supervision of the foreman.
• Represent Farmscape in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as required by the foreman.
• Drive between project sites and supply vendors (valid driver’s license required).
• Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles.
• Maintain good relationships with clients and co-workers.

Location:Oakland, CA

Schedule:Monday-Friday, onsite hours 7:30am-4:00pm.

Compensation:$23 - $27/hr

Status: Full time, non-exempt

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing landscape projects, with scope including but not limited to: hardscaping, masonry, carpentry, and irrigation under the supervision and training of the landscape construction install foreman
• Represent Farmscape in a friendly and professional manner
• Perform other duties as required by the foreman
• Drive between project sites and supply vendors (valid driver’s license required)

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 75lbs
• Ability to perform manual work, lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
