Job summary

Farmscape is actively seeking a landscape installation assistant to join our Oakland team. You will help install projects and support foremen with masonry, carpentry, irrigation, and hardscape tasks on-site.

We value eagerness to learn, reliability, and clear communication to maintain strong client relationships and smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in landscape construction.
• Eagerness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing landscape projects, including hardscaping, masonry, carpentry, and irrigation under supervision.
• Represent Farmscape in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as required by the foreman.
• Drive between project sites and supply vendors (valid driver’s license required).
• Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles.
• Maintain good relationships with clients and co-workers.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, onsite hours 7:30am-4:00pm.

Compensation:

$23 - $27/hr

Status

Full time, non-exempt

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing landscape projects, with scope including but not limited to: hardscaping, masonry, carpentry, and irrigation under the supervision and training of the landscape construction install foreman
• Represent Farmscape in a friendly and professional manner
• Perform other duties as required by the foreman
• Drive between project sites and supply vendors (valid driver's license required)
• Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles
• Maintain good relationships with clients and co-workers

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 75lbs
• Ability to perform manual work, lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
