Environmental Management Inc. (EMI) in Columbus, OH, seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial landscape installation projects across the Columbus market.

You will oversee all phases from planning and scheduling through completion, coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to meet safety, budget, and quality goals. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in landscape construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and the

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in landscape construction or related field.
• Experience managing multiple landscape construction projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of hardscape, softscape, drainage, irrigation installation, and site development.
• Ability to read, interpret, and manage construction drawings, specs, contracts, and schedules.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting labor/material costs, and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Superintendents, Foremen, Crew Leaders and field personnel.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with coaching, performance management, and workforce development.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training as needed.
• Ensure crews have resources, equipment, and support to succeed.
• Review project profitability and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Manage project schedules and address delays proactively.
• Approve subcontractor work and ensure contract compliance.
• Participate in estimating, budgeting, and pre-construction planning.
