Job summary

Curti Group in Valley Cottage, NY is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Estimator to prepare accurate bids for commercial and high-end residential projects. The role focuses on estimating, plan review, quantity takeoffs, pricing, and producing executable proposals to support a strong project backlog.

Projects range from small to large scale (roughly $20,000 to $1.5 million) including landscape, hardscape, drainage, utilities, and civil site improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience estimating landscape construction or related projects.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, civil drawings, and specifications.
• Experience soliciting, reviewing, and leveling vendor and subcontractor proposals.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with commercial or high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and bid packages to develop accurate estimates.
• Complete quantity takeoffs and prepare labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Develop bids and proposals aligned with project scope and deadlines.
• Collaborate with project management during handoffs and post-bid reviews.
• Identify cost exposure and value-engineering opportunities.
