Job summary

Ruppert Landscape seeks a Senior Estimator in landscape installation to drive the estimating process from inception through proposal submission. You will review plans, define scopes, solicit subcontractor pricing, and assemble detailed cost estimates to deliver competitive bids.

You will support pre-construction budgeting and value engineering, collaborate with internal teams to optimize profit margins, and participate in post-project reviews to improve outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Extensive understanding of landscape installation or construction methods.
• 3–5 years of Estimating experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating workflow and ensure timely, complete proposals.
• Coordinate bid strategy with internal operations and subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid summaries.
• Review plans/specifications to define scope and production methods.
• Develop value engineering alternatives and manage change orders.
