Addison Group in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Landscape Business Developer to drive growth in landscape installation and construction. This full-time role focuses on building a robust pipeline, forming long-term client relationships, and delivering compelling proposals that align with pricing and profitability targets.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience in construction or landscape settings, strong presentation skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven B2B outside sales success in construction, landscape installation, or related industries.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills with a track record of closing commercial contracts.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach focused on landscape installation and construction projects.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of installation opportunities outside the existing maintenance book of business.
• Develop customized proposals and presentations that address client needs and highlight company value.
• Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goals.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and key decision makers.
• Serve as primary point of contact during the sales cycle and ensure smooth transition to operations post‑sale.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, and project management teams on accurate proposals and service delivery.
• Review large‑scale opportunities ($1M+) with senior leadership; collaborate with Branch and Enhancement Manager on opportunities up to $1M.
