Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Miami, FL seeks Landscape Architecture graduates for our office. This is a non-remote, full-time role.

You will participate in site planning, urban and landscape design, and production of graphics and documentation for client projects. You will develop proficiency in Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel while learning to navigate federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn's standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Landscape Architecture by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
  • Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production.
  • Engage in land planning, urban design, redevelopment, and streetscape projects.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment.
  • Learn Kimley-Horn standards, procedures, and regulatory practices.
  • Gain proficiency in software: Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.

Job description

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Landscape Architecture graduates to join our Miami, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
  • Contribute to the site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
  • Projects can include land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and all types of residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure design, parks, and other community facility design.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Analysts will learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.
Qualifications
  • A Degree in Landscape Architecture (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
