Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Landscape Architectural Associate to support projects from concept through construction. You will work on public spaces, private developments, parks, and campuses while growing your licensure and design skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture, 0–3 years of experience, and proficiency with Word/Excel and AutoCAD. A strong collaborator with oral and written communication is essential, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
• 0–3 years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using AutoCAD for drafting.
• Knowledge of plant materials including trees, shrubs, and perennials.
• Interest in learning or expanding skills in 3D design and graphics software.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Effective communication - verbal, written, and visual.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and pursue licensure.
• Enthusiasm for teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Valid Driver's License.

Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Illinois Pay Transparency $58,000 — $68,000 USD
