Farnsworth Group, Inc. seeks an Architectural Associate II to join our team in Illinois. You will contribute to design teams from concept through construction contract administration, gaining well-rounded professional experience and AXP development.

You will generate design ideas, produce drawings under supervision, research materials, and coordinate with consultants. Strong communication, organization, and ownership are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university.
• 2-5 years of experience in an architectural office.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficient use of Revit required.
• Experience with Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office preferred.

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Architectural Associate II to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of design teams, developing a variety of projects from concept design through construction contract administration. As an Architectural Associate II, you will receive a well-rounded professional experience and AXP development.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in generating creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions while participating as an integral member of the design team.
• Generate drawings under supervision for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Perform product research and assists team with material selections.
• Exercise critical and creative judgement and design application skills in preparing client presentation materials.
• Use a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects, within the scope of schedule and budget, in an organized, timely, and consistent way.
• Self-check work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual.
• Take increasing ownership of tasks within project teams and studio activities.
• Keep open communication within team and with designated team leader.
• Communicate ideas and thoughts in a way that inspires others.
• Coordinate effectively with design partners and consultants.

What You’ll Need:

• Master’s Degree in Architecture preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, required; degree must be from a NAAB accredited university
• 2-5 years of work experience in an architectural office
• LEED accreditation preferred
• Proficient use of Revit required
• Experience with Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office, preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Illinois Pay Transparency $63,000 - $83,000 USD
